About.

Helena is the newest member of Lumon Industries' Macrodata Refiner division, whose work is mysterious and important. Part of joining the team involved going under a process called severance, which created a new version of herself who only exists on the clock. When Helena goes to work she becomes Helly, an amnesiac whose only purpose is to work for Lumon. The company coins it as a true division between work and life, as Helena has no memories of her work as Helly and vice versa. Helena is the "outie" who lives in the outside world, and Helly is the "innie" who only exists within Lumon's basement floor. Helly hates the job and wants to quit, but struggles to contact Helena. As such she toils away in Lumon's sterile rat maze while plotting ways to escape her hollow existence.

Note: I play Helly from the end of the first season but will refrain from spoilers whenever possible. The blurb above is only basic information on the character presented early in the show.

First impressions.

Visual. Auburn shoulder length hair, large brown eyes, sharp full eyebrows, very expressive.

Fashion. Office casual - blouses, turtlenecks, dress pumps, pencil skirts (never pants), solid color dresses. Lumon dictates all severed workers must dress in a way that does not convey contemporary fashion trends.

Demeanor. Rigid, on guard, unfriendly. She's not an especially nice person, but then again she sees no reason to be. That doesn't mean she's unkind, unless prompted to be. Prone to sarcasm and biting jokes with a smile.

Voice. American accent, low-pitch with a faint rasp, is very straight to the point in communication.
